On 28 September, the school will be running an “online safety” day. It will be run by Dan Hawbrook of the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Board. The day will include two sessions for parents to attend at 3pm and again at 5pm.
I would like to extend an invitation to any members of the local community who would like to come along to these sessions. They should be very useful for anyone with children of any age who use the internet.
About 20 village residents have now attended a defibrillator training session run by LIVES first responder Ian Carroll. If you missed one of the sessions, or if you would like to refresh your knowledge, here’s a video which complements and reinforces Ian’s training :

The Village Defibrillator, sited on the rear of the village Telephone Box is now fully operational. We hope that none of the community will actually need it but it is there in case of an emergency. With electrical installation completed by Maltby Electrical, Coningsby, the Book Exchange & Information Board are also back in use.
