New speed limit in Roughton Road

The Parish Council has been notified that Lincolnshire County Council propose to make an Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to restrict the speed of vehicles to 40mph on Roughton Road north of the existing 30mph speed limit. Permission has been granted subject to conditions, notably regarding surface water run-off, deliveries to the site during construction and a requirement that the erection of walls, fences, hedging, trees or other means of enclosure or planting shall be within 2.0 metres of the definitive line of footpath 171/1.
