CAMEO CLUB of KIRKBY on BAIN and ROUGHTON – 16th JULY REPORT
Misty Culpin returned to set our teams some challenging questions in our Fun Quiz! It was a very close run thing with two teams finishing with the same score, each gaining 52 points. This was the first time a tie break had ever been required so Misty had to come up with a quick question.
Unfortunately, neither team knew the answer to Prince Charles’ full name. It then had to go to a super tie break, a bit like the world cup cricket! The Try Hards just pipped The Unforgettables to the answer to the question: ‘Who is fifth in line to the throne?’ Answer: Louis!
Due to our August speaker having to postpone till next year, September ‘s programme was brought forward so Dinah Ward came to give us ‘Decorating and Eating Cupcakes’ in August which went down deliciously well with all.
To fill the gap in September Misty happily came along to set us a quiz challenge which was varied and stretched us to the full. As last year the general knowledge quiz made an interesting change to the normal speaker and allowed all our competitive instincts to surface in teams of 4/5. Results: Continue reading →
