Kirkby on Bain phone box book exchange in the news

I recently posted a reply to a tweet by Visit Lincolnshire extolling the virtues of a phone box book exchange in another village, just pointing out that we had one too. Lo-and-behold we now have a page of our own on their website. Here’s the blurb:

“The iconic red phone box has seen a resurgence and never more so than in the village of Kirkby on Bain. Lovingly refurbished by a hard-working community, it has been converted into a free book exchange. Drop off those titles cluttering up the bookshelf at home and uncover new ones you might have missed. Recycled colour-washed pallet wood was used for the shelves and information board. A local book group stocked the shelves. A couple of large logs from the churchyard are outside as bus stop style seats.”
