Exit Equinox!

Kirkby on Bain Parish Councillors have been informed by East Lindsey District Council Licensing Section that the organisers of Equinox Festival have applied for a premises licence at a new location near Grimsby. After years of dogged opposition to noisy music festivals held at Scholey Park, this news was welcomed by Councillors representing the concerns of village residents adversely affected by noise nuisance.

Chairman of the Council Sam Midgley commented: “To all those involved over the past few years and the hard work put in by you and all the others, for your perseverance I salute you all and thank you.”

This application was discussed by the Kirkby on Bain Parish Council who registered concerns regarding a possible increase in traffic hazard in this narrow lane.
