Planning Applications

planning_wordcloud_150Applications for planning permission affecting Kirkby on Bain are routinely received by your Parish Council for consideration. Being involved in town and country (land use and spatial) planning is one of our most important activities. Councillors read every application thoroughly and often discuss applications at scheduled Council Meetings, which are open to the public. When necessary the Parish Council expresses opinions to the planning authority, e.g. East Lindsey District Council.

All planning notices are posted on the home page of this website as soon as they are notified to us, including a reference number and a link to enable you to comment personally online if you wish. Planning notices are also displayed by the planning authority near the proposed development site, and those residing near the site are notified directly by letter.

If you prefer, you can submit comments in writing to the relevant planning department.  You must quote the reference number provided on the relevant application notice. If you do submit a comment to the planning authority as an individual it’s a good idea to let the Parish Council know too.
