If you came to our Annual Village Meeting earlier this year may remember the compilation of film clips I showed, representing some of Betty Dixon’s memories of her life in Kirkby on Bain. The film featured old photos and Betty’s own commentary:
Plans are now being drawn up for next year’s meeting, so if you have any ideas for us, now’s the time to tell us. It could be an issue you would like to discuss in public, something you would like to tell the village about, an idea for a speaker or maybe something totally new you would like to bring to the event.
We will be updating progress from time to time as we make arrangements running up to the event, once the date has been finalised. Let’s make this one even better than last year!
Contact Councillors Martin Briscombe, Peter Dewrance or Penny Stones:
The Village Meeting is one of two mandatory annual Parish Council meetings, and it has to be held between March 1st and June1st every year.
