From Martin Briscombe:
Ian Carroll reports that at the end of September the village Defibrillator was collected from the Telephone box and dispatched to the Ebrington Arms.
Here a lady had collapsed and was being attended to by staff and customers. Ian rushed home to collect his kit before going to help. Fortunately it appeared that the lady had just fainted (Ronnie had given her a free drink) and had now recovered without the need to use the defibrillator. Although defib was not needed on this occasion it’s good that people know where the defib is housed, and that the Emergency 999 /LIVES system works, and of course that we have Ian resident in the village.
