Yurts application approved by ELDC

planning_wordcloud_150Planning approval has been granted by East Lindsey District Council for five yurts to be sited on land at Beech Cottage off Tattershall Road, despite objections by Kirkby on Bain residents and the Parish Council. The decision was made at ELDC’s Planning Committee meeting on Thursday (December 10). The successful applicant is Mrs V. Chalupa of Brant Broughton near Lincoln. Related post

  1. So ELDC strikes again, supporting people who don’t live in this village, against the well considered objections of those who do. Personally I think Mrs Chalupa may be deluded – it might work in Woodhall Spa where tourism is well established, but I doubt if it will work here in a small residential area, especially as she has alienated the neighbours, never the best of ideas.
